And now for the real reason we went to the
car show!
Mary worked with Jim Clark at
Hewlett-Packard in Vancouver, Washington before they recently decided to
"early-retire" the vast majority of their experienced personnel, but
that is a whole 'nother story...
Anyway, she soon found out that Mr. Clark
owned the oldest known assembled and running Ferrari in the world! Right
here in Vancouver, Washington.
On June 13, 2009, I finally was privileged
to see and shoot this amazing automobile at Salishan in Gleneden Beach,
Oregon.
This is the fourth Ferrari constructed.
